I am very happy to say that Joel is now on this site and is getting lots of help… and he seems happier and more comfortable in himself already…

Hi Jessi, and Joel,


I kind of missed all this in the last few days. But I wanted to say a huge welcome to both of you and say how incredibly moving this thread is.


Nothing pushes my buttons more, or makes me more passionate, than the thought that people are being driven to contemplate suicide because they believe that their homosexuality means God hates them and they are going to hell.


Neither of those things are true and people NEED to hear that it’s not true, before it’s too late.


So Jessi, thank you SO much for coming here. Everyone, thank you so much for jumping in to help.


And Joel, thank you just for being.

yep……for tooooo long we heard all the negative stuff from people who were not really up to date on the scientific research in the areas of sexual orientation and had done little more than read an English version of the bible and made false assumptions based on their own cultural biases
